Are there any good books that can throw some light on manic depression?

With the above questions in mind, I found out what a psychiatrist say; that “manic depression” is an old expression; in present times known as “bipolar disorder”.

There are number of sources that define about manic depression. You can visit this resource to know the deeper meaning.

But in a nutshell we can understand it as a mood disorder; where in an individual’s mood changes, accompanied by high energy states.

It is believed as a complex disorder; stems from genetic as well as non-genetic factors.

Questions are many and we are looking for answers.
